Lightning causes major problems for companies, including damaging buildings and critical equipment. ERICO has two main systems to protect facilities, based around our Six Point Protection Plan. ERICO's System 3000 is a technically advanced lightning protection system. The unique features of this system allow optimum performance, flexibility of design, and overall cost-effective installation.

As an integral part of the System 3000, the screened, insulated ERITECH ERICORE downconductor conveys the lightning discharge current to ground with minimal danger of sideflashing.

With almost two decades of successful field application, the ERITECH® System 3000 was enhanced in 2003 with an optimized DYNASPHERE air terminal, ERICORE cable system and supporting design software for a greater protection level.

ERICO offers a full range of air terminals and accessories that conform to numerous national and international standards. Since 1760, the most popular methods of lightning protection have involved air terminals (Franklin rods), horizontal and vertical conductors (Faraday Cage) or combinations of both. ERICO offers the System 2000 series of air terminals, downconductors and fittings in accordance with National and International Standards such as Australian-AS1768, British-BS6651, Singaporean-CP33, European-IEC and USA-NPFA 780.

The ERITECH® SI Series encompasses three air terminal models and accessories that are designed to comply with the requirements of the French NFC17-102 and Spanish UNE-21186 standards. The ERITECH SI has been extensively tested at an independent high voltage laboratory. Tests have been performed in accordance with the requirements of NFC17-102 and UNE-21186 norms.
